The latest Lakers rumors look at the argument of who is better between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
LeBron James has been compared to multiple LA Lakers, although he is a Cleveland Cavalier. Critics have he has different qualities of various players in his game.
Also, many have said LeBron is the best NBA player ever, the GOAT. However, that may not be the case, just yet.
In order for him to surpass Bryant and be better than him he will have to lead the Cleveland to back to back titles against Golden State.
If he defeats the Warriors again, then he will be in the discussion of being the GOAT.
Ok now on to the comparisons, as of now Kobe Bryant is still better than the LeBron James. Jared Dudley, an NBA player, exclaimed Kobe Bryant was more difficult to guard than LeBron James.
The proof is in the pudding. Kobe literally carried his teams to the NBA Finals in 2009 and 2010. James has done that with the Cavaliers in his rookie season when he lost.
Then he went to Miami and had to play with All-Stars to win his first NBA Finals. Bryant in his early years was traded to the Lakers and won with some stars back then in the early two thousands.
Then in recent years Kobe carried a team of role players to the NBA Finals and came out victorious. Kobe didn’t have any All-Stars when he won his last two NBA Finals. By not having an All-Stars on the team while wining the Finals, he is better than James.
Bryant is currently third on the all time scoring list with 33,643 points, while James is seventh on the list with 28,787 points. Yes Bryant played for 20 years with the LA Lakers. James has been in the leagues for 14 years. He has a few more years left in the tank.
Once again, Kobe has won more NBA Finals titles than LeBron James. Yes James has won more accolades.
Also, if everyone is going to critique who is better, usually it is based off championships. Kobe has five rings.
Next: Lakers have options other than Lonzo Ball
James has made it to eight Finals and has only won three. Therefore, that would make Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers better than James.
