Nneka Ogwumike lead the LA Sparks to victory at home where they stay undefeated on the season.

Nneka Ogwumike looked like she was back in the groove of everything. Her performance was reminiscent of her season last year and the WNBA Finals Series with the LA Sparks.

When she is in her zone she performs greatly, breaks records of others and her own. Additionally, she makes her teammates play smarter and more aggressive.

She is physical. By being physical she is able to control the tone of the game with her strength. Her strength is what allows her to crash the glass and even earn points off of second chance point opportunities.

Since she played 35 minutes her case of being strong is justified as that was the most played by any Sparks player during the game. This proves she has endurance which is excellent during the playoffs. In order to succeed the players must be able to play an entire game with little rest, especially during the playoffs.

More from Los Angeles Sparks

During the regular season, stars will usually rest more often than not so they aren’t worked up and at risk of injury. Yet, somehow, some stars find a way to get injured playing the game they love. It happens to everyone. There are just some things you can’t control.

Nneka Ogwumike grabbed her first double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. She has been very close to posting a triple-double. I believe one day she will accomplish the feat of a triple-double.

She will even do it without trying or tracking it at all. I say this because she will be focused on helping her teammates perform to the best of their abilities, so they can their game and have a better chance at the post-season.

Also, the Sparks have mostly the same team with some new rookie faces who can help defend the title. This Sparks team has the opportunity make it back to the playoffs.

Next: Kobe is better than Lebron

Additionally, I think they have the ability to defend their WNBA Finals Title and win another one back to back. Only time will tell.
