This year shows he’s not enough by himself to defeat Golden State

If he’s having so much trouble in Cleveland, why not build more there? He’s already drawn guys like Channing Frye and Kyle Korver — so what gives?

More from LA Sports Hub

James is much better of staying with the Cavs than joining the Lakers. Los Angeles doesn’t have a set star yet from their core, and it’d be too much for him to handle.

Not that he’s incapable of carrying a team, but the Warriors present a serious problem. Kevin Durant doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere, so why go somewhere you won’t win?

Kyrie Irving is only getting better. The former number one overall pick is the best sidekick for LeBron James, and even his help can’t get it done. No matter what James does, it hasn’t stopped his team from falling into an almost irredeemable hole this time around.

He’d embarrass himself every time Golden State came up. The Lakers don’t know how to handle him, and the focus needs to be their younger guys. By the time next summer rolls around, time will have taken more of a toll on his body anyway.

It’s just not going to work.
