Lakers Rumors: Possible trade packages to receive another draft pick
By Jason Reed
The Sacramento Kings have both the fifth overall and tenth overall selection in the 2017 NBA Draft. The tenth overall selection is coming from the DeMarcus Cousins trade, with many speculating that the Kings want to trade their picks.

However, instead of packaging together the two picks for a higher selection, the Kings may be better suited to trade down from the tenth pick to bring in some established talent. This established talent would be Julius Randle, and he would provide a huge spark to this team.
With Paul George and Lebron James both finding themselves tied to the Lakers, they may need to free up some space at power forward for one of them – preferably James. Randle’s name has already been heavily in the latest Lakers rumors, so it would not be a big surprise to see him go.
Although they may need to free up space at the power forward position, Lauri Markkanen would be the perfect choice for the Lakers. The seven-foot freshman from Arizona can play anywhere from small forward to center on this Lakers team.
Markannen can rebound, evident by his 7.2 rebounds per game, he scored over 15 a game, and shoots 42.3% from the three point line. Markannen can do it all, and quite frankly, may be an upgrade from Julius Randle.
