Phoenix Suns

Picking fourth, Phoenix is right where they want to be. Should Josh Jackson fall, they’ve got him. If De’Aaron Fox falls, they’ve got him.

Could Lonzo Ball fall, they’re a playoff team next season.

Having a back court of Ball alongside Devin Booker would be deadly. Booker proved last season that he can be a pure scorer, booming into the record books after dropping 70 points in Boston.

If the Suns can manage to work on their defense some more and ensure the big men they have get stops, they’ll be just fine.

This is the more realistic landing spot if Ball falls. Considering that the Boston front office has said they would’ve picked the same player first overall as they will at third overall.

The conversation of Ball going to Boston isn’t one that most are ready to have. If the Celtics were to somehow land Ball, that would again be the shock of the draft just like last season.

Boston managed to surprise everyone by picking Jaylen Brown early on. This year, that surprise team will be Phoenix, regardless of whether their selection is Ball or not.

How the Suns could not end up with Ball is easier than you think. Fultz could go first, Fox second, Tatum third, and then they can pick Josh Jackson or Lonzo.

In that case, as mentioned earlier, Ball could wind up with the Wolves.
