Draft Day 2017: Three teams that could end up with Lonzo Ball
By Keith Rivas
Closing Thoughts
All in all, Lonzo is going to have to find a way to tune his dad out sooner or later. It might seem great now for him, though.
To LaVar’s credit, he’s shown unwavering support and confidence in his kid. Albeit ridiculous at times, you don’t see that sort of involvement on the parental level with other prospects.
Additionally, whoever drafts Lonzo also gets a chance to work with Big Baller Brand. It’s easy to see why LaVar wants him to be a Lakers player so badly.
Marketing the family brand in Los Angeles would be a cake walk. No relocating or moving things around, they would just be able to keep it simple and expand from there.
Not to mention that with the opportunity companies will soon have to sponsor jerseys, the Ball family is going to do everything it can to stay competitive.
Lonzo has two more siblings coming out of Chino Hills who are UCLA commits and have the same NBA dream as him.
