Rajon Rondo

Lately, point guard Rajon Rondo has been a traveling man. He spent the early years of his career as a major player for the Celtics. Winning a ring with Boston under Doc Rivers, Rondo has now played for Dallas, Sacramento, and Chicago, with his fifth team to be determined.

Some point to his interesting relationship with some of the coaches as a problem. More specifically, how he handled himself while playing for the Mavericks.

More from LA Sports Hub

He would’ve been a crucial part to a huge upset over his former team if he hadn’t been injured this past post-season. Rondo helped the Bulls pull to a shocking 2-0 series lead over the number one seeded Celtics.

After his injury, Boston went on to take four straight from Chicago and send them home for the year.

In terms of the Lakers considering Rondo, he could be a solid backup player at this point in his career. There is also the possibility of him being the third guy in the rotation so that the younger ones can still get solid minutes.

Either way, Rondo would probably be happy just to get to play somewhere, let alone Los Angeles. At first glance, if the Lakers sign him, it would get a B grade. This is because we won’t know all that we get with Rondo, but we know what he is truly capable of.
