Candace Parker of the LA Saprks has once again accomplished a feat.

This time in the last week of August Candace Parker was named Western Conference player of the week. LA and Parker continue to accomplish feats and surprise critics and fans everywhere.

It seems like there is nothing they can’t do. Last season the Sparks brought home the WNBA championship trophy to Los Angeles as the second seed in the playoffs.

This season they are once again fighting for the best record in the WNBA. LA can easily be the best team record wise, if they win out and get help from other teams. However, the main goal is to repeat as champions again by  winning each game.

Nonetheless the LA Sparks are in the playoffs and Candace Parker is just one of many talented athletes on the roster. In the Sparks recent victory over the Minnesota Lynx she recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. She consistently displays these performances.

Additionally, the rest of the team is just as dangerous in displaying these numbers on any given night. Every player on the Sparks are not just one sided players. They are threats to opposing teams since they shine on offense and defense.

For the most part most players are stronger one side of the ball than then other. However, there are quite a few players on the team who are good all round. This is what makes them athletes who can compete.

When the LA Sparks enter the post-season they become a team that seems unstoppable. It is as if they take their game to another level. We all know their games are on another level. However, it just seems like in the playoffs they become nearly invincible.

This may be because all the players are athletes who are versatile and competitors. They leave it all out on the court.
