4. The Comeback on Katella
The Anaheim Ducks were as good as dead as they faced the Edmonton Oilers in the game five of the second round of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Ducks found themselves down 3-0 with four minutes left in the third period against a young Edmonton Oilers team looking to take a 3-2 series back home for potential game six clincher.
What transpired can only be described as a miracle as the Ducks preceded to score three goals in minutes to send the game to overtime.
In double overtime, the comeback was made complete when forward Corey Perry score did the game-winner for a 4-3 win. The Ducks would close out the series in game seven, exorcising some demons after going 0-4 in their last four game sevens.
