Jordan Clarkson Trade Scenarios: A deal with every Western Conference team
By Keith Rivas
Here’s a look at every one of the plausible Jordan Clarkson trade scenarios from within the Western Conference.
What we hope is a given at this point is a Jordan Clarkson trade from the Los Angeles Lakers before the trade deadline and All-Star break. There’s plenty of places that LA could send their talented back up point guard to, but questions remain about what they’ll consider an acceptable return.
Also, it’s yet to be seen if they’re going to ship him more or less on his own or try and put him together in a package with Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr., who’ve also been named as Lakers on the market officially.

It’s also uncertain if they’re going to try more to make a deal happen anywhere or if they want to try and get the most they can from a team in their own conference. Clarkson doesn’t seem to care where he goes at this point, but it is reported that there’s mutual interest in terms of a time frame to get a deal done and that’s as soon as possible.
Once the trade dominos start falling, one of the ones that will be worth watching for from the Lakers is one involving Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder. That will likely have to be a package deal for OKC to even think about it, but that is probably their biggest potential acquisition by mid-season at this point.
Clarkson is averaging a hair under 14 points per game with three assists and just under three rebounds as well. Here’s what the Lakers can try to get from every team in the Western Conference with just him on the block.
