3. Don’t lose focus on the offense

With the previous two steps being defensive-minded, it is a safe assumption that the Rams should go all defensive this offseason similar to how they went all offensive last offseason. Heck, we even did a mock draft in which five of the season draft choices were on the defensive. Hypocritical, I know.

While it is good to focus on the defense and it definitely should be their first priority, the Rams cannot lose focus on the offensive side of the ball. “Obviously,” you are probably thinking; let me explain.

More from LA Sports Hub

It would be very easy for the Los Angeles Rams to become complacent with their offense because of how much success it had last season. It is natural for sports teams to do that. They do not want to mess up the locker room dynamic or the special flair that the offense had.

However, the offense is taking a potential hit. Sammy Watkins is set to be a free agent, the offensive line could always get better. There definitely are things to improve on, however, the Rams could be tempted to take the “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it,” mentality.

The Los Angeles Rams must avoid that if they want to be anywhere near as successful as they were last season. The offense is great, it can always be better.
