Los Angeles Rams: Two corners drafted in latest mock draft
By Jason Reed
While the Los Angeles Rams do not have a second or a seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the team does have three picks in the sixth-round all within five slots of each other.

In the first of the three picks, the Rams should choose their first offensive weapon of the entire draft in Jaylen Samuels.
Samuels was pretty talented in college, giving North Carolina State a Swiss Army Knife that could line up anywhere. Samuels’ problem, though, that he is good at a lot of things, but not great at anything. He could be undersized for a tight end, too slow for a receiver and not elusive enough to be a primary halfback.
However, Samuels still is a threat in the passing game and can be the back that the Rams wanted Tavon Austin to be. Even if he isn’t, he is a good option to be the team’s feature fullback in short yardage situations.
While he may not have a concrete role initially with the Los Angeles Rams, he should have no problem getting involved in any way he can.
The second and last offensive selection of the draft, the Rams should be looking to add at least some depth in their offensive line with the seven picks they have.
However, their line is good enough as it is that it does not necessarily dictate using a high round selection on it. Thus, the team is best suited to wait until the sixth round to draft right tackle depth in Zachary Crabtree. At six-seven and 276 pounds, some fine tuning could turn Crabtree into a decent NFL tackle.
Finally, the Rams should finish the 2018 NFL Draft again with the defensive line by selecting Scott Pagano out of Oregon. Although the team already added Fitts, LA can bring in Pagano as a depth option in the run defense.

Pagano is not anything special, but he is an important piece to add when the Los Angeles Rams need to stack the box and stop the run. This is assuming that the team brings back Aaron Donald as well. If the Rams do not bring back Donald, a first round pick may be used for a defensive tackle.
