Prince Amukamara

Maybe the Los Angeles Rams want to go with a name of royalty and add a Prince to go along with their Pharoh (Pharoh Cooper). All jokes aside, Prince Amukamara is another solid option for the Los Angeles Rams to consider this offseason and at the very least could fill the void that Johnson left behind.

Last season, Amukamara did not log a single interception, however, he did have seven pass deflections and a fumble recovery. Amukamara is not a Casey Hayward type of corner that is going to jump routes and put up a lot of interceptions, he has never been that guy. Instead, Amukamara is a good coverage receiver that can hold his own against NFL-level receivers.

Admittedly, Amukamara should not be the Rams’ number one corner heading into next season. Although he is good, having him as the best corner on the team only shows how thin the secondary really is.

However, if the Rams were to draft a corner out of the first round and pair him alongside Amukamara, suddenly the team has a much deeper secondary that is primed for better results than last season.
