Trevor Ariza:

This season has been filled with nothing besides success for Trevor Ariza. His team, the Houston Rockets, currently resides in first place in the western conference, with a league-best record of 48-13.

With the addition of Chris Paul, the Rockets have quickly become one of the best teams in the NBA. In terms of individual performance, Ariza is having that type of season you would expect from him. He is currently averaging 12 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and is shooting 39% from three.

He is shooting the most three-point attempts of his career at seven, which makes sense seeing as his team is going to shatter the record for most three-point attempts in a season. Barring any dramatic changes to the outlook of this season, Ariza should enjoy a deep playoff run as an important role player on one of the best teams in recent memory.

Luc Mbah a Moute:

The story of Luc Mbah a Moute’s season is very similar to that of Trevor Ariza, seeing as they play similar roles to one another on the same team. He is scoring just above his career average of 6.4 points, bringing in 7.6 points this year. The same applies to his three-point percentage, as he is up to 35% this year, just above his career average of 33%.

Since entering the league, Luc Mbah a Moute has struggled to find a fit in the league, but he seems to have finally found just that with the Rockets. He has been an effective three-and-D player off the bench for them.
