Shabazz Muhammad:

Shabazz Muhammad’s season has been in short terms, terrible. Not terrible because he didn’t play well, but because he hasn’t really played at all. He has appeared in just 32 games all season, averaging only ten minutes a game. It was clear that Muhammad was simply not a good fit for the current Timberwolves team, which is why his lack of playing time was of no surprise.

On March 1st Muhammad finally reached an agreement on a buyout with the team, allowing him to join a team that actually wants him. He intends to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks once he clears waivers. Hopefully, he is given an opportunity to prove himself in his new city.

Jrue Holiday:

While it is not being widely discussed, Jrue Holiday is quietly having the best season of his career. The former all-star is currently averaging 19.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists. For comparison, he only averaged 17.7 points in his all-star season.

Prior to the injury of Demarcus Cousins, the Pelicans were going to be a very interesting team come playoff time. The source of this interest was not solely rooted in the two star big men, but the play of Jrue Holiday also played a part in creating that intrigue.
