1. Los Angeles Rams

  • Key Additions: Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, Sam Shields

  • Key Losses: Sammy Watkins, Trumaine Johnson, Lance Dunbar

The LA Rams look very, very promising heading into next season. Coming off of an NFC West title, the Rams’ front office was not hesitant in bringing in new faces to help shore up any areas of need. Now, the Rams secondary is one of the best in the league after being one of the worst in the league just a few weeks ago.

More from LA Sports Hub

The additions of Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib are huge. Bringing in two Pro Bowl corners definitely trumps the 49ers getting Richard Sherman; add in Sam Shields who could return to be a solid corner and Los Angeles becomes scary.

There is still some work to be done, however. Los Angeles has a hole at center, something that will likely be filled up in the 2018 NFL Draft. The team does need to find a replacement for Watkins, however, there are countless trade and free agent options to do so.

Most importantly is re-signing Defensive Player of the Year, Aaron Donald. If the Rams manage to re-sign Donald, regardless of any other minor holes, they easily are locks as the NFC West. If the team actually manages to bring in Ndamukong Suh as well, well, they may be Super Bowl favorites.

Jared Goff is still one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and head coach Sean McVay is an offensive genius. Todd Gurley is arguably the best running back in football and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is a mastermind.
