Julius Randle potential landing spot: Philadelphia 76ers

This one is more unconventional than the others, but under the right circumstance, makes a lot of sense. With Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and Markelle Fultz to build around, the 76ers are a superstar away from being the NBA’s next biggest dynasty.

However, if the 76ers do strikeout on this offense, they could add another potential all-star in Julius Randle. The biggest benefit of signing Randle is that he allows the 76ers to be flexible in bringing in other talents as well.

There will be some questions for the 76ers to answer regardless of how far the team makes it in the NBA playoffs. J.J. Redick, Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova are going to leave some holes for the 76ers to fill.

Randle would immediately fill the hole left behind by Ilyasova and then some. Randle has proven that has potential to be a 20-10 a night guy.

Pair him alongside Joel Embiid in the frontcourt alongside a backcourt consisting of Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz and we will all see how good Randle really is.

Plus, the 76ers would then have enough cap space not only for a draft pick but to bring in a sharpshooter off of the bench to log minutes at shooting guard.

If everything holds, and the NBA Lottery goes as it should, the 76ers will have the tenth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. That pick can bring in another great young piece or can be packaged with a larger contract for another great player.

Either way, that would just be another piece to a championship puzzle. Out of the teams mentioned, Julius Randle would have the best chance of winning a ring outside of LA in Philly.
