5. Michael Brockers, DT

The Los Angeles Rams created arguably the best interior defensive line that the NFL has seen in Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Donald. While it is a bit far to put them in the all-time ranks before they ever play together, Donald is the best defensive player in football and Suh is an All-Pro caliber player himself.

Quite frankly, at their best, Donald and Suh are the two best defensive tackles in football. The biggest question heading into the season is whether or not Suh can be a reliable force alongside Donald.

Suh should be just fine though, as long as he does not let his attitude get in the way. Thus, the Rams are going to be a terror in the middle, however, there are some questions in the exterior points of the line.

Trying to help on the exterior point of the defensive line is going to be nose tackle Michael Brockers, who slides over with the addition of Suh. Not only are the Rams turning to Brockers to make a seamless transition, Brockers is going to have to go out and prove that he can roll with Suh and Donald.

All of the talk has been around the dynamic duo of Suh and Donald. Brockers, despite being very solid, has become an afterthought. In 2018, Brockers is going to need to prove that he doesn’t deserve to be overlooked.
