2. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have a bright future around Giannis Antetokounmpo but still need to look to surround the star with pieces before he can hit the open market and leave. While the Bucks do still have a long time until that happens, adding pieces as early as next season is imperative to give the team proper playoff experience as well as to open flexibility in the future.

There is no better trade for the Milwaukee Bucks to make than trading for DeAndre Jordan. Jordan would help the Bucks free up some long-term contracts that can hurt them in the future. And while it would cost some draft picks in the process, those draft picks are less valuable than having the cap space to pursue stars to play alongside the Greek Freak.

A package of Jordan for John Henson, Matthew Dellavedova and two future first-round picks make sense for both sides. The Clippers can stock up on two first-round picks for someone that can walk away otherwise. Eating the contracts is tolerable when you are not competing.

The Bucks should protect these picks in the top-five, just to ensure that if anything goes haywire that they do not lose a great pick.

But now the Bucks would have a great center to play alongside Antetokounmp without having to commit to anything long-term. Jordan would be a one-year piece and could re-sign after the season or simply walk to open up space to bring in other stars.
