4. Seth Curry

Seth Curry gets lost in the mix and does not get the recognition he deserves because of his older brother, Stephen Curry. Add in the fact that Seth Curry did not play a single game last season and he becomes one of the best under-the-radar signings for any team to make this offseason.

And while he may not be getting the love that he deserves from the mainstream NBA media, Curry has proven that he can be a huge asset to any NBA team and is just as good, if not better, than his brother from beyond the arc.

More from LA Sports Hub

Curry has played 118 games in the NBA, spanning four seasons. However, Curry really did not get a role in the NBA until the 2015-2016 season, in which he played 44 games with the Sacramento Kings. The next year, he played 70 games with the Dallas Mavericks.

Over those 118 games, Curry has shot 43.2 percent from beyond the arc. His brother is a 43.6 shooter from beyond the arc. While it is a much bigger sample size, Seth Curry obviously can make it splash as well.

There are question marks around Curry due to his overall inactivity and injury history. However, at the very least, the Lakers can bring him in to be the three-point spark plug off the bench.

The best-case scenario is that Curry begins to get hot, showing that he is a valuable NBA player. With the three-point shot being so important in today’s NBA, Curry could make his way to the starting lineup and could even progress into an all-star.

While he is a natural point guard, the Lakers would best utilize Curry at the two. While his size may create some limitations, having a six-foot-six point guard in Lonzo Ball helps defensive matchups.

This is not a case of Seth Curry being highly touted just because of his bloodline. He has proven to be a valuable NBA player and the Lakers should take a risk on him.
