3. The LA Rams have virtually no weakness

To beat the best teams in the NFL teams have to take away what they are best at. To beat the New England Patriots the last 20 years you had to make Tom Brady uncomfortable and not squander any opportunities on offense. Last year, to beat the Minnesota Vikings, you had to fight relentlessly on offense to overcome the solid defense and exploit Case Keenum.

To beat the Los Angeles Rams, well, it is going to be very hard. In fact, teams cannot simply take away the best thing that the Rams are good at to beat them. This team can win games in so many different ways that they have to truly get outmatched in every facet of the game.

The chances of that happening are very slim.

Offensively, the Rams are explosive. They have a gunslinger quarterback in Jared Goff with a great receiving corps that will likely lead to another 4000-yard season. If that is not working, all the Rams have to do is hand the ball off to Todd Gurley, who has arguably become the best running back in football.

Maybe the offense is having a slow day and can only put 21 points on the board (which seems to be this team’s floor). Even so, the pass-rush on defense mixed with a solid secondary is going to be a headache for any opposing quarterback.

Running the ball against the Rams is probably the best bet due to the team’s linebacker core; which is the weakest point of the team. However, it is going to be very hard to get past that defensive line.

If it is not one thing it is going to be the next. The Rams can slow things down and win defensively or pick the pace up and blow teams out. It is going to take a great, well-coached game, as well as some luck, for more than two teams to beat the LA Rams.
