1. Kansas City Chiefs

Kareem Hunt is really good at football. Hunt is not only one of the best running backs in the game, he is one of the youngest running backs in football and is already poised for a great career with the Kansas City Chiefs. The first-year back took the league by storm last season and will likely carry the offense next season with a rookie quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, alongside him.

More from LA Sports Hub

In his rookie season, Hunt rushed for 1327 yards on 272 carries with eight rushing touchdowns. Not only was he a threat on the ground, though. His elusiveness and speed made him a big threat in the passing game, where he made 53 receptions for 455 yards and three touchdowns. Hunt led the league in rushing yards.

Behind him is a running back depth chart that is not too shabby, either. Charcandrick West only had 18 carries for 72 yards last season but is still young and has broken out for over 600 yards earlier in his career.

Spencer Ware rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns last season with an added 447 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Ware may not see many touches next season, however, you will see him on the field often as a passing back.

The heart and soul of the offense though is still Kareem Hunt and he is poised to challenge Todd Gurley and Le’Veon Bell to be the best running back in football. Alongside fellow rookie Alvin Kamara, the future of the running back position looks very promising.

And while the Chiefs may edge out the Chargers in terms of running the football, both teams still possess a very solid run game.
