3. Lance Stephenson will serve at least one suspension next season

This one pretty much goes hand-in-hand with the last prediction and it may seem a bit silly but chances are that we will see Lance Stephenson get some sort of repercussion from the NBA next season.

More from LA Sports Hub

It is not going to be something huge that makes Stephenson sit out for multiple weeks. However, it would not be surprising to see him slapped with a one or two game suspension next season after a particular game gets chippy with one of the stars on the other team.

This may seem like a bad thing for the Los Angeles Lakers and I would not say that is not necessarily a great thing. However, depending on the outcome, it is not all that bad, either.

If Stephenson can get Green mad enough to make him serve a suspension as well that would be great for the Lakers. If it disrupts a player so bad that the Lakers steal a regular season win that is welcomed as well.

Regardless, everything Stephenson does is going to go into the memory bank come playoff time. And while some may argue that it would give the opposition added motivation, it also puts Stephenson in the back of every player’s mind when the pure focus should be winning basketball games.

It may seem trivial and it kind of is. However, the Lakers do not have a roster good enough to overthrow the Warriors in the first season with James. Thus, you have to take added benefits like this when you can.
