3. The Los Angeles Rams will remain one of the worst teams in rushing yards allowed

It is not all positive as the Los Angeles Rams, although it is close, did not build a perfect defense heading into next season. In fact, with the losses of the likes of Alec Ogletree, Connor Barwin and Robert Quinn, the team not only got worse on the outside but will be worse in stopping the run.

Do not get me wrong, the Rams have a plug in the middle of Suh and Donald that should do just fine at limiting some runs to the line of scrimmage. However, it is the line of defense past Suh and Donald that is very underwhelming that will lead to the Rams being in the bottom-five in rushing defenses yet again.

It is not all bad, though, as this is kind of expected from a team like the Rams. The Rams have such a good defense against the passing game that teams are naturally going to be running the ball much more frequently.

Plus, the team plays in the same division as David Johnson and the best running quarterback in Russell Wilson. Jerick McKinnon is no slouch in San Francisco, either, and the Seahawks have built an interesting running back dynamic.

Regardless, teams are going to be running the ball more against the Rams which is naturally going to cause more rushing yards. Mix that with the fact that the linebacker core is hands down the worst part of the entire roster and the Rams simply have to take the medicine and move on.

Next. Bold predictions for Todd Gurley. dark

This will not be game breaking for the Rams as long as the defensive line can come up stops on big-play runs. However, it is also not all sunshine and rainbows for the Los Angeles Rams defense, either.
