Los Angeles Dodgers: What the Dodgers should do with a crowded outfield
By Jason Reed
4. Los Angeles Dodgers sign Bryce Harper
So we are trading Matt Kemp and Joc Pederson away and replacing them with Alex Verdugo and Bryce Harper. That sounds like a pretty fantastic trade-off to me and one that would make the Los Angeles Dodgers significantly better.

The Dodgers are one of the teams in the running for Bryce Harper, although it is unclear how much interest Andrew Friedman and the front office really have in Harper.
The front office should be interested in Harper, who is a once in a generational talent, has already shown capable of putting together insane MVP seasons and still arguably has not hit his prime. His worst seasons are similar to the season that Max Muncy had in 2018.
That is his absolute worst-case scenario. Imagine how good Harper can be when he is hitting in this Dodgers lineup alongside the rest of the dangerous bats.
The size of the contract is up for debate and that is something for a completely different article. When it comes to pure talent, this serves as the icing on the cake for the Los Angeles Dodgers and would again make the team the front-runners to win the National League Pennant.
Just imagine a starting lineup consisting of Verdugo, Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Bryce Harper, Max Muncy, Cody Bellinger, Yasiel Puig and whoever the catcher is (we will just say, Austin Barnes).
Even with Barnes, that is a terrifyingly good lineup that can not be taken lightly and could bring LA its first World Series in 31 years.
