Los Angeles Dodgers: Remaining free agents that would fit nicely in LA
By Jason Reed
3. Marwin Gonzalez
I will never forgive Marwin Gonazlez for his ninth-inning home run on a 0-2 count against Kenley Jansen in Game 2 of the 2017 World Series. If the Dodgers would have won that game they would have went up two games to none and likely would have won the World Series.
That is unless he comes to the Los Angeles Dodgers and does the exact same thing, but this time in Dodger blue.

Marwin Gonzalez is the biggest name on this list because of his World Series heroics and his involvement in the Houston Astros coming to form over the last several years. Now, Gonzalez hits the market for the first time and is someone that would fit the Dodgers nicely.
The Dodgers do not really need Gonzalez, which should keep the team away from him if his asking price is too high. However, his versatility to play middle infield, first base and even the outfield is again something that the Dodgers front office loves out of players.
Not only is he versatile on the field but at the plate as well. Gonzalez is a switch hitter and is good from both sides of the plate. He has been marginally better against right-handed pitching in his career but is still a consistent presence that could be an everyday player against both hands in various different positions.
Gonzalez has World Series pedigree and knows what it takes to come up with a massive hit in the clutch. While the Dodgers certainly have more than enough World Series experience, it does not hurt to have someone that has been on the winning side of the last two World Series.
The Dodgers already swooped in and signed former Boston Red Sox Joe Kelly to a three-year deal this offseason. I would not be surprised to see the team do the same for Marwin Gonzalez.
