2. Justin Turner

Corey Seager has already finished as an MVP finalist in his short MLB career and Justin Turner is going to follow up as an MVP finalist this year. Turner arguably would have finished as an MLV finalist if he played all year this year as his impact on the Dodgers is indisputable.

In fact, we went as far as to say that Turner might even win the National League MVP to cap off what has been a great career with the Dodgers thus far.

Turner is having a great spring, although these games still don’t count and he is not facing the best opposition. However, he finally looks completely healthy and has one of the best offensive approaches in the entire league and is an on-base machine.

His power has declined a bit but Turner has that unbeatable two-strike approach that leads to a lofty on-base percentage and ton of RBIs batting in the three hole. He is the definition of clutch and even if he does not hit 30+ home runs he will surpass 90 RBIs.

Turner is great against right-handed pitching and absolutely stellar against southpaws. There really are not any holes in his game at the plate and that is going to be evident throughout the year.

Harper might beat Turner out when it comes to power but when Turner finishes as an MVP finalist and Harper doesn’t it will be clear that Turner had a better overall season.
