2. DT Dexter Lawrence

Another need that the Los Angeles Rams have, although not as glaring, is on the line on the opposite side of the ball: defensive line. This might sound ridiculous as the team has the best defensive player in the league in Aaron Donald but is still going to be missing Ndamukong Suh next season.

Will the Rams be fine if they do not draft a defensive lineman in the 2019 NFL Draft? Yes. Would it be smart to still draft a defensive lineman if the right prospect is available? Also, yes.

The fact of the matter still remains that Suh is likely going to sign elsewhere this offseason and Michael Brockers is going to be a free agent after this following season. Outside of Donald, the Rams have no security blanket in the defensive line.

Dexter Lawrence is someone that we are very big on here at LA Sports Hub as we would not mind if he goes to the Rams or the Los Angeles Chargers, as long as we get to see him play in LA.

Lawrence is massive and is this far down in the draft ranks because he is not the best pass-rusher as a nose tackle. However, that is not even what the Rams need him for as he can fit in at nose tackle and be the primary run stuffer that closes the interior gaps.

And it is an added benefit that he gets to play next to Donald, who is going to get doubled and open the door for Lawrence to become a better pass-rusher. It is a match made in heaven.
