Week 6 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Los Angeles Chargers went into Pittsburgh last season and overcame a 16-point halftime deficit and nailed a last-second field goal (after three tries) to defeat the Steelers 33-30.

This was the start of when the 2018 season started to feel different for the Los Angeles Chargers. Everyone knew that the Chargers were a playoff-caliber team but the team needed to show it with a good showing against the Steelers.

The Chargers are notorious for getting oh so close but never getting the job done and this win was unlike anything the Chargers have done since the turn of the century. It was the win that created many more believers.

This time around the Chargers will host a Steelers team without Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, who didn’t even play last season. This seemingly should make the game easier for the Chargers and you could make the case that it is not one of the toughest games.

Heck, the Steelers weren’t even a playoff team last season, so there is a case to be made. However, this game is going to look like a Steelers home game and the Chargers are going to have their hands full.

Plus, by this point of the year, we will know exactly who the Chargers are. If the Chargers can win two out of three against the Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and Steelers in the first six weeks then the 2019 season will look very promising.
