1. Danny Green

This might seem odd as Danny Green is one of the more anticipated new players on the Los Angeles Lakers this season. After winning the title with Kawhi Leonard for a second time in Toronto, Laker fans are understandably excited for what Green can bring to the table.

Not only do we think that hype is justified but we think that Green is going to have a much bigger impact than most of the NBA world thinks he will have with the Lakers. He won’t be an all-star, but he will be that fourth-best player that makes a massive difference in the playoffs.

The important thing to keep in note here is Green’s play style. Green is the typical three and D two-guard and excels in that role. That is the role that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has not been so great in over the last two years that Green is going to take over.

These kinds of players always thrive alongside LeBron James as Green is going to find himself in plenty of open chances at the three-point line, especially considering that opposing defenses are going to be focused on what is happening in the frontcourt.

And his ability to guard the other team’s best guard is something that is huge for the Lakers, especially when the playoffs roll around and the Lakers are missing that defensive impact that Lonzo Ball brought to the team.
