Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp might not look like the number two receiver for this team based on last years stats, but that was due to his torn ACL.

Kupp is a favorite target of Jared Goff’s, maybe was even his favorite, before he went down. Kupp had six, count em, six touchdowns on only eight games played last season. Robert Woods only had 6 for the entire season alone.

Although Kupp might not have been as yard heavy as Woods and Cooks were per game. He still managed to garner more touchdowns on fewer targets than Robert Woods. Pretty impressive for a second-year player.

Oh yeah and not to mention he had a catching percentage of 72.7% on the year. The highest in the receiving group. Kupp only managed to take in two at the red zone, from eight yards or less. Which does not bode well for his upside in the red zone.

Yet he still remains the most week to week consistent catching receivers. Never having a game of fewer than four receptions, except for one due to the ACL injury he accrued.

Cooper Kupp has tremendous upside, the only problem with him. Is the injury bug. Kupp got bit hard by it last season. The only thing holding him back from being the number one option is dependability.

He has this upcoming season to prove he is more than worthy and to finally spray the injury bug away. So far, he is good as the camp reports indicate.
