Los Angeles Clippers have two notable things to worry about in 2019
By Jason Reed
2. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George’s health
Injuries can happen to any NBA player at any moment during the season. It can derail any team’s season, which might make it a weird thing to be worried about. Yeah, it is a possibility, but it is also a possibility for every single player and team in the NBA.

However, in the Clippers’ case, there is more reason to be worried as the two stars have an injury history that is troubling and could resurface in 2019.
Kawhi Leonard had the debacle with the San Antonio Spurs where he missed almost an entire year which had everyone wondering if he was even the same player. That feels like so long ago as he came back last season and proved he was.
And while he put that behind him, he did not completely show that he was healthy. The Raptors had to shut him down for load management for 22 games last season to keep him fresh for the playoffs, and even then he did not seem 100 percent.
There is a good chance that the Clippers have to do the same and Kawhi has to miss a fourth of the season. That is not a great outlook.
As for Paul George, he is literally coming off of surgery on both of his shoulders. There absolutely is a chance that there is a slow start in the cards for George and there is always the worry of reaggravating those injuries.
And with the Clippers having just a superstar duo like most of the league, one of these guys going out for an extended period of time can be extremely troubling.
