Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland will host the Los Angeles Dodgers for just the third time in its existence and the first time since the 2013 season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have only traveled to Camden Yards three times since MLB expanded interleague play and the last time that the Boys in Blue found themselves in Baltimore was in 2013 when the Dodgers dropped two of three to a then-winning Orioles team.

Now, in 2019, the Dodgers are similar but different from their 2019 counterparts. The team itself is almost completely different, with Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen and Hyun-Jin Ryu being the only holdovers.

However, in terms of success, the Dodgers are well on their way to a seventh-consecutive National League West title. At seven consecutive years in the playoffs, the Dodgers have the third-longest streak in MLB history.

And with a team that is mostly young and will only get better, chances are that the Dodgers might just be able to push that streak to a decade.

The Dodgers could clinch that seventh-consecutive NL West crown on Tuesday with a win or an Arizona Diamondbacks loss. It will be interesting to see how much the team truly celebrates, as it has been a given for three months now and they have already been there and done that.

It still is exciting to see and for the naysayers that bring up the World Series’ losses, I say this: there was a time and there will be a time again where the Dodgers are not good. Enjoy this.

Toeing the rubber for the Dodgers is Walker Buehler, who has been great for most of the year, but terrible during certain starts. He enters with a 3.28 ERA on the year.

Pitching for the Orioles is Ty Blach, a southpaw with a 10.95 ERA in 24 and two-thirds innings pitched.

As part of our Los Angeles Dodgers Beat the Streak series, here is who we think will get at least one base hit in Camden Yards.

Jason’s pick (Current streak: 0): Chris Taylor

Although the Baltimore Orioles are an unfamiliar team for the Dodgers to play, Ty Blach is not an unfamiliar pitcher. The Dodger hitters have 147 combined at-bats against the former San Francisco Giant. He has more innings pitched against the Dodgers than any other team and has a solid 2.82 ERA.

Hopefully, the Dodgers get the Baltimore version of Blach and not the San Francisco version, as Blach is one of those frustrating mediocre pitchers that the Dodgers somehow struggle against.

One person that has impressive numbers against Blach is Chris Taylor, who has seven hits in 22 at-bats against the southpaw with three doubles, a home run and four RBIs.

After an ice-cold start, Chris Taylor has actually been pretty reliable for the Dodgers as well. Over his last 30 games, Taylor is hitting .297 with a .865 OPS.

Hopefully, Taylor can continue producing like this into October and not be the April version of himself. If that is the case, he is going to have a big game against Blach after going 0-4 on Sunday.
