The Los Angeles Lakers’ first pre-season game was quite the performance. The team seemed to be clicking every which way. Just the one game alone is enough to get Laker fans excited for the upcoming season.

In quite the fashion, the Los Angeles Lakers showed up to play during the first preseason game. Anthony Davis impressed and LeBron James… well looked like LeBron James. Not to mention that the other players on the team played very well too.

In just 18 minutes each, LeBron posted 15 points with eight assists, while AD posted 22 points and 10 rebounds! I mean, we know it’s just preseason, but those numbers look insane. Especially in only 18 minutes each. Which is more than a good sign for the Lakers upcoming season.

The early camp standout, Avery Bradley, didn’t contribute much stats-wise, but if you saw the game, you would have seen the energy he played with and how he stood out defensively.

JaVale McGee also stood out, whom I said should be starting in my re-examining the starting lineup. He gathered 10 points to go with 13 rebounds. Quite a good display for a player that no one expects much of.

The other players stuck to what their roles were but some other highlights happened. Such, as Alex Caruso having 10 points and six assists. Also, Rajon Rondo hit a couple of threes, yes, in the same game.

Not to mention the team seemed to click very well on the defensive end, holding a lot of the Warriors players in check for most of the game. A nice surprise was Troy Daniels, who happened to get 14 points. He could end up taking KCP‘s bench spot away from him soon if he keeps up his play.

Los Angeles Lakers fans have a lot to look forward to the upcoming season. With such a good duo in LeBron and Anthony Davis, they look to be almost unstoppable. Players will need to step up even more once the regular season gets started.

Danny Green stood out on the defensive end, but only managed six points, Avery Bradley is going to need to get going offensively, and KCP needs to step it up or he could very well lose his bench spot.
