Los Angeles Dodgers: Three trades to make for Corey Kluber
By Jason Reed
Trade #3:
The third and final trade is a massive blockbuster that sees the Dodgers cash in on two rumored trade targets. Francisco Lindor has been tied to the Dodgers with many fans believing that Corey Seager will get traded for the switch-hitting shortstop.

However, I doubt that is a move the Indians and Dodgers would make. Lindo is not that much of an offensive upgrade from Seager, even when Seager is not at 100 percent, and the Indians have literally zero reasons to ask for Seager.
The entire purpose of trading Lindor would be to get young assets in return that the team does not need to dedicate most of the payroll towards. Seager is a free agent the same winter as Lindor, so the Indians would essentially be moving laterally, and if that is the case, they might as well keep Lindor.
That is where Gavin Lux comes into play. And as a huge Lux supporter myself, it would be hard to see this trade but the potential doors it could open would be phenomenal.
It would be a pricey acquisition as the Dodgers would also include Keibert Ruiz, Josiah Gray and Maeda. We already outlined the reason for Maeda and now Keibert Ruiz is tradeable with Will Smith thriving at the big-league level.
Josiah Gray is a promising pitching prospect that would be hard to see go but the Dodgers would keep Dustin May and Tony Gonsolin. Plus, the Dodgers got Gray in the Yasiel Puig deal, so if they can flip that for Lindor and Kluber it would be a huge upgrade.
Lindor or Seager can move over to second with Justin Turner staying at third and Max Muncy at first. Lindor could be the speedy lead-off man with pop that the Dodgers have needed, which moves Joc Pederson down in the order to be in more of a run-producing spot.
Based on how the Los Angeles Dodgers operate, I could see them getting one of the two, but getting both would be hard. However, if the team can get Lindor to commit to an extension, perhaps they pull the trigger on this deal.
