1. Alex Colome

Alex Colome served as the White Sox closing pitcher last season and was by far the team’s best reliever. Colome had a fantastic 2019, posting a 2.80 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 61 innings. He recorded 30 saves for the White Sox.

The White Sox may have Colome as part of their long-term plans as he is only 30 years old. Colome is set to be a free agent after this season and the White Sox may already be having internal discussions about extending him.

On the other side of that coin, the White Sox may look to get one year of a reliever for one year of something that would benefit the team much more, which in this case, is Pederson. Relievers can have small primes and in knowing that, the White Sox may have no intentions to extend Colome past this season.

Colome would be a good fit on the Dodgers as they could use reliever help and he is someone that can not only pitch in high-leverage situations, can not only be a reliable set up man but is a legitimate option to fill in at closer if Kenley Jansen continues to regress.

2019 was not a flash in the pan for Colome, either, as he has a 3.07 ERA in his career, all in the American League. Colome is estimated to make $10.3 million in arbitration this season.
