The Los Angeles Lakers have hit their stride once again. After what seemed like a gimmie win on Wednesday from the first three quarters, the team’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns turned into a stressful fourth quarter

After beating the Dallas Mavericks and holding them to one of their worst offensive games, the Los Angeles Lakers were tasked to beat the Phoenix Suns, who are having their own set of struggles as of now.

But, somehow even after a big blowout, the Lakers almost ended up losing the game by letting the Suns take control of the fourth quarter. Although, in the end, the Lakers proved to be victorious.

LeBron James had his 8th triple-double on the season with a great stat line of, 31 points, 12 assists, and 13 rebounds. The now 35-year-old vet played just as good as ever in the win, showcasing his talent the entirety of the game.

More from LA Sports Hub

Anthony Davis nabbed a double-double. Scoring 26 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Another day, another great game for AD. He seemed unguardable against the weak interior of the Suns. He also continued his display of stellar defense in the win.

Avery Bradley shined bright in the win, playing rough defense and not giving up an inch of the court without some fight. He also had a great offensive night, hitting 9 of 11 shots and scoring 18 points. If Bradley can somewhat repeat his performance from Wednesday on a more consistent basis then he will be one of the stronger areas of this Lakers team.

Kyle Kuzma had a nice scoring game with, 19 points on the night. But, it wasn’t a pretty shooting night for him, hitting only 5 of 15 from the field. Kuzma seemed to struggle at times shooting tonight, which will hopefully only be a one-night shooting performance.

JaVale McGee didn’t happen to have the most impressive stat line on the team. But, if you managed to watch the game, he affected the game a lot in the first quarter, which led to the Lakers’ big lead for the entirety of the game.

The rest of the bench was practically non-existent, which led to the lead being sliced by more than half in the fourth quarter. The bench had an awful night shooting and producing any sort of help outside of Kuzma. I would expect nothing but improvement from the bench the next game out.

Next. Why Talen Horton-Tucker could be traded this season. dark

Overall it was a solid night for the Los Angeles Lakers. A win in the column and keeping the Lakers atop the Western Conference standings. The next game is against the New Orleans Pelicans. I would expect it to have some sort of fire and fight between the two.
