What’s next for the Los Angeles Clippers?

It is clear that when healthy, this Los Angeles Clippers team has the ability to be second to none. That is why the “something has to change” takes need to stop. The only thing that has to change for the Clippers, is their health and experience.

More from LA Sports Hub

That is finally starting to come, as this stretch of off days should do wonders for the Clippers and their treatment of any lingering injuries that may exist.

Nobody was saying something has to change for the Clippers when they had just beaten the Lakers for the second time this season. That crowd decided to wait for a game against Memphis, in which Patrick Beverley and Paul George both sat out, to say the Clippers aren’t good enough.

Is this the roster that the Clippers will carry into the postseason? Only time will tell; however, one thing is for certain, and it’s that this Clippers front office will make the necessary moves. Their complacency to this point is proof that they see what they should be seeing, and that is a team who’s two superstars have played just 18 of the team’s 38 games.

They also see how dominant the team has been during those 18 games. To claim to see something they don’t, and suggest rash trade proposals based upon the growing pains of a new team, is bad in every possible way.

The numbers are there for all who are interested in finding the truth behind the play of the Clippers. Those numbers show a team that is far from where they want to be, but at the same time, still atop the league’s best.

As Kawhi said, it’s going to take success, mistakes, arguments, losing games, and winning games, to get to that next level. That doesn’t happen in just 18 games. The fact that the Clippers are already this good, despite the lack of court time, should truly scare all who don’t rep LAC.

The Los Angeles Clippers are for real, and they’re just getting started.
