LeBron’s monster triple-double against the Dallas Mavericks
This surprisingly is the only moment on this list that the Lakers secured a win. While admittedly you could have gone with more iconic moments for The King, this was a monster performance and was a statement to the league.

This game took place early in the regular season at a time that many thought the team would need a lot of time to begin to mesh with each other and could not compete against playoff-contending teams yet.
However, this game proved them all wrong. It took a buzzer-beating corner three from Danny Green off of a LeBron James assist to even send the game into overtime, but once the overtime period started you could see something click in the team.
This was a statement game from LeBron and the rest of the Lakers, beating an elite Mavericks team who had played one of their best games to date. Some standout players for the Lakers in this game were the superstar duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
Davis scored thirty-one points and secured eight rebounds while LeBron dominated every facet of the game and stopped any comparisons of Luka Doncic to him dead in their tracks.
LeBron totaled thirty-nine points, twelve rebounds, and sixteen assists, along with four steals. This was one of the most dominating performances that LeBron has had in his career let along in his short time with the Los Angles Lakers.
This game was also very symbolic in this being a team that could compete with anyone, and at their best no, one could stop the Lakers this year.
