Week 17 @ Kansas City Chiefs

The second matchup of the season against the Chiefs will be the more challenging test with it being on the road in a potentially big game for the Chiefs. As the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Chiefs will be hoping to make the playoffs and repeat with their great quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

In Week 17, this game could have a lot of meaning for the Chiefs, as it could be for playoff positioning or a bye week. This also will be the second season in a row that the Chargers will be playing the Chiefs in the final week of the season.

Last season, the Chiefs were able to win comfortably by 10, but the Chargers will be hoping for a different result this time around. Like the Chiefs, the Chargers hope that this game could have some potential playoff implications for them.

This could also be the first time that Justin Herbert gets a taste of the rivalry, as Taylor could be the starting quarterback when the teams face in Week 2. The NFL does a good job scheduling big division games late in the season and this could end being a great one if the Chargers can have a bounce-back season.
