2. Denzel Perryman, LB
Denzel Perryman was selected by the Chargers organization with the 48th pick in the 2015 NFL draft. Although Perryman was originally drafted as depth for the linebacker position. He saw the field a lot during his rookie season, playing 14 games and starting nine due to injuries.
That said, Perryman dealt with a multitude of injuries during his next seasons with the Chargers. As a result, Los Angeles opted not to re-sign Perryman following the 2020 season, even though when he was on the field, he was a difference maker.
Of course, then Perryman went on to have the best season of his career in 2021 with the division rival Las Vegas Raiders, making the Pro Bowl.
Following 2021, Perryman spent one more season with the Raiders and then played for the Houston Texans in 2023. This campaign, Perryman returned to Los Angeles on a one-year deal.
In 2024, Perryman played in 11 games, recording 55 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack.
Unfortunately, the 32-year-old linebacker had another season shortened by injury, this time a groin issue.
In all likelihood, 2024 was Perryman's final season in Los Angeles, given his risk of health problems.
