One of the biggest offseason topics for the Los Angeles Rams will be the impending trade of star wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
Last week, the veteran wide receiver posted a message on social media that the Rams would seek to trade him immediately. The news sent shockwaves around the league and caught his teammate Puka Nacua off guard.
The Rams or Kupp didn’t give a timeline on when a trade will happen, but seeing the veteran in a different jersey will be strange after his years of dominance in Los Angeles. That said, until a trade happens, Kupp is still working out with his teammates ahead of the 2025 season.
In an Instagram post screenshotted by Adam Grosbard of the LA Daily News and Orange County Register, Kupp took a picture of Nacua and captioned it, “Kicking off off-season training the only way we know how.”
Based on the emojis, someone, maybe Nacua might’ve gotten sick while working out.

As you can imagine, Rams fans do not want to see Kupp go as he and Nacua were developing into one of the better wide receiver duos in the league. This season, Nacua and Kupp dealt with their share of injuries but still performed when their numbers were called.
Nacua was the Rams’ leading receiver with 79 receptions (106 targets) for 990 yards and three touchdowns. Kupp was not too far behind with 67 receptions (100 targets) for 710 yards and six touchdowns.
The 31-year-old wide receiver missed four games earlier in the season with an injury, which has been an issue over the last three years. In fact, the last time Kupp played a full 17 games was in 2021 when he won the Triple Crown for receiving.
The sad reality for Rams fans is that this will be one of the last few times they’ll see Kupp still acting like a Ram as the new league year is around the corner.
