The Los Angeles Chargers have won four out of their last five games, including their last three games, heading into their primetime Week 11 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chargers’ defense wreaked havoc last week on Tennessee Titans second-year quarterback Will Levis, sacking him seven times. Despite the insane amount of sacks, Levis still passed for 175 yards and two scores.

Los Angeles’ front seven defense will need to apply a similar amount of pressure to Bengals QB Joe Burrow, who torched the Ravens’ defense for 428 passing yards and four touchdowns. With that in mind, the Chargers’ secondary needs to be ready for this huge matchup.

Chargers News: Los Angeles Opens Deane Leonard's Activation Window

On Wednesday, head coach Jim Harbaugh had some great injury news on the secondary, which should excite fans.

According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, Harbaugh said the team will open Deane Leonard’s activation window. The 24-year-old cornerback was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury before the Chargers’ Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Before being placed on injured reserve last month, Leonard was one of the Chargers’ better special teams players. The former seventh-round pick played 59 percent of defensive snaps.

The Chargers will have 21 days or three weeks to get Leonard back on the active roster. Los Angeles hopes star cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. will be back soon, who was placed on IR last month because of a shoulder injury.
