Jim Harbaugh Makes Worrying Comments on J.K. Dobbins' Knee Injury After MNF Loss
The Los Angeles Chargers had their four-game win streak put to an end in Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. John Harbaugh got the best of his little brother, as the Ravens beat the Chargers 30-23.
The Chargers fell to 7-4 on the season but also lost running back J.K. Dobbins in the process. Dobbins left the game a few minutes before the first half after he was pulled backward by linebacker Malik Harrison. He came up grabbing his knee before going to the locker room. Dobbins didn't return to the game and was ruled out.
After the game, Harbaugh didn't provide a glowing update on Dobbins injury.
Chargers News: Jim Harbaugh Provided No Update on JK Dobbins Postgame
Following the game, Harbaugh said he has no injury update regarding Dobbins' knee injury.
This isn't what Charger fans want to hear, highlighting there is some concern about his injury. The Ohio State product signed with Los Angeles on a one-year, $1.61 million deal. This was a bargain due to Dobbins coming off a torn Achilles in 2023.
Thus far into the season, the 25-year-old is ranked 12th in the league in rushing yards (766) and ninth in rushing touchdowns (8).
Justin Herbert also voiced that he hopes Dobbins is fine after leaving the matchup. Herbert said, "Obviously I'm hoping J.K. is OK."
The Chargers will have to rely on Gus Edwards, Kimani Vidal, and Hassan Haskins if Dobbins is going to miss an extended period. There will be more information revealed once more tests are run but the initial concern appears to be high.
