The Los Angeles Rams are 6-6 on the season and are making a second-half push to make the playoffs. After a shaky start, the Rams have won five of their past seven games.

In Week 14, the Rams are hosting the red-hot Buffalo Bills as they try to get over .500. Prior to that matchup, Los Angeles claimed cornerback Emmanuel Forbes on Dec. 2.

Although he isn't going to make his Rams debut on Sunday, the 23-year-old made his first comments since joining the team.

Rams News: Emmanuel Forbes Makes First Comments Since Joining LA

Forbes sat and interviewed with Rams senior staff writer Stu Jackson. Even though he's been with the team for less than a week, Forbes is already seeing positive things from his new club.

He said, "It's a team that's bonded together, and they seem like a lot of great people and a lot of great coaches. Just ready to get started with them."

Forbes also spoke about his quick departure from the Washington Commanders.

"It's part of the business. I wish it didn't happen like that, but it did. And like you said, I have a fresh start here and a clean slate, and I'm just ready to take advantage of it."

The Mississippi State was drafted as the 16th overall by the Washington Commanders in the 2023 NFL Draft but failed to make his presence felt. In 20 career games with the Commanders with seven starts, Forbes tallied 45 total tackles, 12 pass deflections, and two interceptions.

He had massive troubles in coverage, where he had a 121.2 passer rating allowed in 2023.

Forbes looks to rebound in Los Angeles with his new club and the Rams hope he can tap into the talent that made him a first-round pick.
