The Los Angeles Rams are having a disastrous start to their season. Not only are they 0-2 after two weeks but they also lost multiple key starters to injuries. Star receiver Puka Nacua and offensive lineman Steve Avila ended up on the injured reserve list after Week 1. Things took an even bleaker turn in the loss to the Cardinals when Cooper Kupp left the game with an ankle injury and didn't return.

On Monday, head coach Sean McVay gave a pessimistic update about Kupp's injury. Saying that he will miss an "extended period of time" without any specificity doesn't bode well for the Super Bowl MVP's immediate future.

This means that the Rams are extremely short-handed in the receiver room. They have Demarcus Robinson, and Tyler Johnson as the starters with Jordan Whittington or Tutu Atwell being the WR3 for now. That is not an inspiring group of weapons for Matthew Stafford.

If the Rams want to keep their postseason dreams alive, they need to add another high-level playmaker. There aren't too many capable wide receivers left on the market so the Rams need to turn to the trade market. Here are five wide receivers who may be acquirable via a trade.

Darius Slayton

The veteran wide receiver is still a big part of the New York Giants offense, putting up six catches for 59 yards in the first two games of the season. However, the Giants aren't going anywhere with Daniel Jones under center and it makes sense for them to move on from their veterans with trade value.

The Giants drafted Malik Nabers in the first round and want to give more of a chance to talented young receivers Wan'Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt. That could render Slayton superfluous and make him available in a potential trade. The 27-year-old receiver has a chance to look much better around Sean McVay and Stafford.
