Probably the most scrutinized second-round draft pick of all time, Bronny James elicited plenty of hot takes after a couple of bad games in the Summer League. Doubters were quick to write him off as Bronny missed his first 15 threes in a row. It turns out, there was no need to rush to judgment on any 19-year-old prospect after one shooting slump.

After delivering his best Summer League performance on Wednesday night, Bronny James followed it up with another strong showing against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. He finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks on 5/10 shooting from the field in 25 minutes of action.

This performance caught the eye of NBA players, who are slowly changing their tune about the rookie. OKC Thunder star big man Chet Holmgren took to social media after the game and called Bronny a "pro".

This is a clear shot at All-Star forward Jaylen Brown, who was caught on cameras calling Bronny "not a pro" earlier in the week.

This shows that Bronny James will continue to be a polarizing figure, even among his NBA colleagues. Every individual game will be put under a microscope and analyzed endlessly.

Bronny James has done a masterful job silencing all the noise around his situation. Despite all the criticism and hate, he has stayed focused and engaged, and as a result, managed to turn things around for himself.

It is important to remember that this is still the Summer League. The level of competition is much higher in the NBA and Bronny needs to develop and get as many reps as possible at the G League level before being able to contribute there.

For now, however, he just proved that he is right on track.
