The Los Angeles Lakers know how to get everyone talking about the organization. That's been the case for the past couple of weeks as the Lakers were conducting a coaching search, diving deep into the 2024 draft class while also outlining a plan for free agency.

Thus far, two of those have been checked off as the Lakers nabbed J.J. Redick to be the new head coach before they shifted their focus to the NBA Draft.

In Round 1, the Lakers got a steal when Dalton Knecht fell to them with the 17th overall pick. Then on Day 2, they made history when they selected Bronny James with the 55th overall pick. This is the first time in NBA history that a father and son are on the same team, as it's expected that LeBron will re-sign in free agency.

Now that Bronny is officially a Laker, the next question is when will he make his debut along with fellow rookie Knecht?

The fans actually won't have to wait too long as Jon Hoefling of USA Today has provided an outline of the Lakers 2024 summer league schedule.

The sixth annual California Classic Summer League is slated to begin on July 6. The games take place at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and Chase Center in San Francisco. This will feature rookies, second-year players, and G League affiliate players.

Six teams in total will participate and those teams are the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

There will be 12 games total played between Sacramento and San Francisco. As for the Lakers, they have three games lined up right now and go as follows:

  • July 6 @ Sacramento Kings, 1:30 p.m. PT
  • July 7 vs. Golden State Warriors, 3:30 p.m. PT
  • July 10 vs. Miami Heat, 4 p.m. PT

This will likely give the fanbase their first glimpse at Bronny in a Lakers uniform and provide a lot of excitement heading toward the 2024-25 season.
