The Los Angeles Chargers have been very active over the past few days. They released Mike Williams, traded away Keenan Allen, and restructured the deals on both edges Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.

Jim Harbaugh is making his imprint felt on the roster as we head into the 2024 season. One thing that is certain is Justin Herbert will be the starting quarterback under center. But it's important to have a quality backup QB and the Chargers locked theirs down.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Los Angeles has re-signed quarterback Easton Stick.

Chargers News: Easton Stick Is Headed Back to Los Angeles

Stick has spent the past five years with the Chargers after being selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Last season, the 28-year-old completed 63% of his throws for 1,129 passing yards with three passing TDs and one interception in five games played.

No one within the organization or fanbase would want Stick to play a meaningful snap in 2024 but he is someone that has familiarity with his teammates. He is also a sounding board on the sideline and is constantly communicating with Herbert.

It's also smart to be proactive in the QB department and the Chargers did exactly that.

Heading into a critical offseason, the Chargers need to ace their moves to improve their chances of winning the division to catch the Kansas City Chiefs but according to FanDuel Sportsbook, Los Angeles is +370 underdogs to win the AFC West.
