The NFL Draft is on the back burner and now teams are filling their remaining holes with veteran additions via the free agent market.

The Chargers decided to clean house on Dec. 15, when they parted ways with Brandon Staley and Tom Telesco.

They snagged Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz to oversee the football operations but Telesco still gets to see his former team twice a year.

On Jan. 23, the Las Vegas Raiders named Telesco as their general manager and he is still adding players from his former team.

Chargers News: Raiders Are Signing WR Jalen Gutyon

Per Ian Rapoport, the Raiders have signed former Los Angeles WR Jalen Guyton. Telesco and Guyton have a history together after being with the Chargers. He was brought in as an undrafted free agent and spent five seasons with the club from 2019-2023.

Guyton is known as a deep threat due to his deep speed and tracks the ball well downfield. He tore his ACL in 2022 and missed the first eight games of 2023 with a leg injury that placed him on the PUP list.

In his career, the 26-year-old has reeled in 71 receptions (130 targets) for 1,112 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. He also logged 14 starts across five seasons.

Now Telesco and Guyton will have the opportunity to square off against the Chargers two times a year.

In 11 seasons with Los Angeles, Telesco went 84-92, with three playoff appearances. Things just didn't work out but he can't stop himself from adding players from his former team.
